View DetailsHow to Choose the Right Engineering Plastic
Selecting the right grade depends on four factors: mechanical load, operating temperature, flame-retardant requirements and cost target. As a rule of thumb: PA66+GF for high heat & strength, PA6+GF for balanced cost and surface finish, PC/ABS for impact & dimensional stability, FR-PP for cost-effective flame retardancy, and PPA for under-hood heat resistance. Our engineers help you match the exact grade to your application — send us your drawing or part requirements.
Industry Application Matrix
| Application | Recommended Material | Key Advantage |
|---|---|---|
| Home appliances | PA6/PA66 + GF30, FR-PP | Cost-effective, UL94 V-0 options |
| Power tools | PA6 + GF30, toughened PA6 | Impact resistance, vibration fatigue |
| Electronics & connectors | FR-PC, PA66-FR, PPA+35%GF | CTI≥400V, high-temp reflow |
| Routers & networking equipment | PC, PC/ABS | UL94 V-0 flame retardancy, dimensional stability for precision housings, excellent surface finish |
| Automotive | PA6+GF50, PPA, heat-stabilized PA66 | Under-hood heat & chemical resistance |
| EV charging | Halogen-free FR-PA66, FR-PC | UL94 V-0, outdoor weatherability |
Plastic Sourcing FAQ — MOQ, Lead Time & Certification
How do I choose the right material for my product?
Match your part requirements to material properties: operating temperature (HDT), mechanical load (tensile & impact), flame-retardant class (UL94) and chemical exposure. Share your drawing or application details and our engineers will recommend the optimal grade — typically within 24 hours.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Standard MOQ is 1 ton (1000 kg). Custom compounds start at 1-3 tons depending on formulation complexity. Sample orders of 25 kg are available for evaluation.
What are your lead times?
Stock grades ship within 5-7 days after payment. Custom formulations typically require 10-15 days including trial production. We confirm exact lead time with each quotation.
Are your materials certified?
Yes. Jinsu is ISO 9001 certified. All grades are RoHS and REACH compliant, and every shipment includes a Certificate of Analysis (COA) with full test data.
Do you offer free samples?
Absolutely. We provide 5-10 kg free samples for testing — shipping cost is to be covered by the customer. Contact our sales team with your grade and quantity requirements and we will arrange shipment.
Can you develop custom formulations?
Yes — custom compounding is our core strength. With 14 twin-screw extrusion lines and a 3,000+ ton monthly capacity, we develop tailored formulations: glass fiber reinforcement, flame retardancy (halogenated & halogen-free), toughening, wear resistance, color matching and more.
Application Success Stories
Real-world applications where Jinsu materials solved critical engineering challenges

EV Charging Connector Housing
An EV charging equipment manufacturer needed a connector housing material that meets stringent flame retardancy standards while maintaining high mechanical strength for reliable outdoor use.

Refrigerator Compressor Housing
A major appliance brand required a compressor housing material that resists compressor oil degradation while maintaining structural integrity under prolonged exposure to hot oil at 70°C.

Car Air Conditioning Air Outlet Blade
An automotive HVAC components supplier needed blower fan blades that maintain precise dimensional control and smooth surface finish under continuous thermal cycling and high-humidity conditions inside vehicle air conditioning systems.

Toughened Nylon Refrigerator Drawer Slide
A leading home appliance brand needed drawer slide components that resist repeated opening/closing cycles without cracking, even at low temperatures inside a refrigerator.
