What is Polypropylene (PP)?

What is halogen-free flame-retardant PP?
It is a PP grade achieving UL94 V-0 flame retardancy using halogen-free additives, so it produces less smoke and corrosive gas during combustion. It is increasingly required for electrical housings and appliance components.
What is the difference between FR PP and PP flame-retardant masterbatch?
FR PP is a ready-to-mold compound with flame retardants already incorporated. A masterbatch is a concentrated additive that you let down into standard PP at the molding or extrusion stage — more flexible for inventory and cost control.
Where is compounded PP typically used?
