Power Tool Components
Power tool components such as gear housings, handles and structural frames are subjected to repeated impact, high torque and elevated motor temperatures. PA66 GF30 provides the rigidity to resist flexing under load, the heat resistance to survive motor heat, and the impact strength to pass drop tests. Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between PA66 GF30 and PA6 GF30?
PA66 GF30 offers roughly 20–30% higher heat deflection temperature (250–260°C vs 200–210°C), higher stiffness and better long-term creep resistance, making it the first choice for hot or heavily loaded parts. PA6 GF30 is more cost-effective, has a slightly better surface finish and is easier to process. If your part runs below ~180°C continuous and cost matters, PA6 GF30 is often sufficient; above that, choose PA66.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
For standard PA66 GF30 grades we support trial orders from 25 kg and small commercial orders from 500 kg. Container orders (about 20–25 tons) get the best factory-direct price. Free 1–2 kg samples are available for testing and evaluation before you commit.
Can you supply custom colors or custom formulations?
Yes. We offer natural, black and custom-colored pellets, plus formulation adjustments such as toughened, lubricated, heat-stabilized or hydrolysis-resistant variants. Tell us your target properties or application and our technical team will develop a matching compound.
Why should PA66 GF30 be dried before molding?
Nylon 66 absorbs moisture quickly, and moisture above about 0.1% causes splay marks, brittleness and inconsistent dimensions in molded parts. Dry the pellets at 80–100°C for 4–8 hours with a desiccant dryer and keep the material sealed between uses.
