Nylon 66 GF/PTFE
Abrasion Resistant Nylon 66 Polymers
How to improve the wear resistance of PA66?
1. Add fillers and reinforcements
Glass fiber (GF) reinforcement: Adding glass fiber can significantly improve the mechanical strength and wear resistance of PA66, while also improving its dimensional stability and heat resistance.
Carbon fiber (CF) reinforcement: Similar to glass fiber, carbon fiber reinforcement can improve the strength and wear resistance of the material, and also has excellent electrical conductivity.
Mineral fillers: such as talcum powder, wollastonite, etc., can improve the wear resistance and rigidity of PA66.
2. Add lubricants
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE): Adding PTFE to PA66 can significantly reduce the friction coefficient and improve wear resistance.
Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2): MoS2 has good solid lubrication properties and can reduce friction and wear.
Graphite: Graphite is a good solid lubricant that can improve the wear resistance of the material.
Jinsu uses a unique blending and compounding technology to add glass fiber and PTFE to PA66, which significantly improves wear resistance and self-lubricating properties.
